Lilia Sulema Borquez Morales

Lilia S. Borquez Morales is a research professor at the University of Hidalgo State. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics for English Teaching from the University of Southampton, the U.K. She has a fellowship with the Higher Education Academy in England and has undergone teaching training in Mexico and abroad. She has been a language teacher for 30 years and has taught naTional to international students and teachers in Mexico, Costa Rica, and England. Her research interests include teachers’ beliefs, teacher development, agency, learner autonomy, holistic language teaching, and post-pandemic education. She has presented and published her work in America and Europe and leads research projects on Teaching, Professional Teacher Development, and The impact of Beliefs on the Teaching practice.
