Juan Manuel Chávez Garza is a committed educator, author, and public speaker. Possessing a fervent commitment to academic excellence and an unwavering passion for the English language, he serves as a full-time teacher for Instituto Politécnico Nacional, CECyT 16 Hidalgo, while also authoring and editing the Go High! SERIES and the corresponding internet-based platform for UAEH. Mr. Chavez possesses a Master’s degree in English education from the prestigious Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México. His commitment to life-long learning shines as an example to all. His own C2 certifications from Cambridge and Trinity are a testament not only to his linguistic prowess but also to his dedication to setting the highest standards for himself and his students. Having illuminated countless minds on the path of linguistic mastery, his classrooms are incubators of knowledge, where myriad students have been nurtured to grow through the Common European Framework of Reference, successfully obtaining English certifications under his expert guidance. He credits his mastery of the English language to extensive reading in a wide range of subject areas. Mr. Chavez summarizes his success with the lines from one of his favorite poems by Robert Frost, having “[taken the road] less traveled by / And that has made all the difference.”

It is imperative to have an inquisitive mind that refuses to grow complacent with the status quo. By avoiding a stagnant practice, teachers are likely to discover uncharted territories with new opportunities to innovate.
