Professor Yanzer Rebollo studied Computer Science and Pedagogy. He holds a certification as an English Teacher from UNAM and has certifications from the University of Cambridge as "First Certificate" "Teacher's Course" and "Teaching Knowledge Tests" and several courses and diplomas. Was a teacher and coordinator for 9 years in prestigious schools and was an academic consultant and academic coordinator for different publishers, where he participated in several publications for preschool, elementary and secondary. Has given seminars and courses in Mexico and different countries. Has been a consultant for Macmillan Education for more than 6 years where he has given webinars for teachers around the world and has participated in different educational projects.

New Roles for Teachers and Students in Emerging Teaching Ecosystems

In recent years, the emergence of new technologies has revolutionized the way we think about teaching andlearning. These technologies have given rise to new teaching ecosystems, which are characterized by anincreased emphasis on student-centered learning, collaborative learning, and the use of technology toenhance the learning experience. In this talk, we will explore the different elements that make up emerging teaching ecosystems and the new roles that teachers and students play within these ecosystems. We willexamine how technology has changed the way we teach and learn and discuss the benefits and challenges ofthese changes. We will also look at some of the key features of emerging teaching ecosystems, such aspersonalized learning, project-based learning, and experiential learning. We will explore how these featureshelp to create a more engaging and effective learning experience for students and how they require teachersto adopt new roles as facilitators, mentors, and coaches. Finally, we will discuss some of the challenges that teachers and students face in adapting to these new teaching ecosystems, such as the need to develop newskills and competencies, and the need to balance technology with other teaching and learning methods. Bythe end of this talk, participants will have a better understanding of the key features of emerging teachingecosystems, the new roles that teachers and students play within these ecosystems, and the challenges andopportunities that these changes present.
